I hadnt thought about it but this is exactly right. Made for a much more enjoyable game to watch.

The knockout round has been very exciting to watch. Overall play is a bit sloppier than it probably should be at this level across the board but the tension, drama and great play when it counts is making for quite the event.
 
The US had a clear easy shot to win it at the end and missed. It just shows that they can be competitive at the highest levels and that they need a striker or two still to really worry the big boys. Tim Howard....stud.
 
I was hoping the US would win so they would play on Saturday and I could have a big bbq for the game. I think I'll have a bbq anyway. Even if no one wants to come.

No WatchESPN app eh? That sucks. I'd like to see a plot of internet traffic here in the U.S. while they were playing. ESPN was definitely getting hit hard.
