Achtung! Sooooooooooo any of you guys interested in the international sawker cup?

True that, and you really deserved the win imo. In the last match, a draw is more than enough for both the US and Germany though, so I can see both teams risking very little in that match. A quite uneventful 0-0 wouldn't be a huge surprise.

Pretty much exactly what I see happening unless something happens in the other match out of the ordinary. Problem is both group matches are being played at the same time. I expect a boring match were neither side risks injury and rests some top players. IIRC the other match (Portugal/Ghana) would have to be a blowout for either of teams to advance in the event of a US/ Germany tie.

Winner in this group is probably playing Algeria and the 2nd place gets Belgium so both teams out of the group will have winnable games in the next round.

On that note I'm off down t'pub.

It's my teacher's NYE 2moro so being less useful than an underwater clothes line won't make much of a difference :embarrassed:

Mon the Mexico.

Yeah because regardless of Holland winning - they'd go through top with 9s points and Chile would go through 2nd with 6.

That games was virtually irrelevant because Spain and Australia were both sitting on 0 points so both Holland and Chile were going through before they'd kicked off.

If they'd hammered Holland it might have changed which 1 went through first and which came 2nd but that's it.

Damn, this Brazil side is poor. Hoofball, and counterattacking football at home turf in the World Cup from them?
Add dreadful defending to it as well. Can't see this tournament ending well for them.
