So I think I'm either cancelling or postponing our open house.

Things have been so hectic and disrupted here with things happening both to the studio and in our personal lives that I haven't been able to give the event the full attention it needs.

I'm still doing the raffle and maybe a webcast of some sort on September 10th since we promised it and people have paid for the tickets so that is still on but the full event here at Premier has been put on hold at least until next month. I just discussed this with Mrs W and she agrees that this is probably the right thing to do at this point and hopefully in October maybe we can do it right.

Also, the property management might be removing and replacing the windows in the front of the lobby (and repairing water damage that their sprinklers have done to our wood floor) next week as well.
I just can't get ahead with this stuff. It kills me to cancel a scheduled event that I've been trying to promote for a month or so but I can't let it go half assed, either.

Anyhow, the raffle is still on: http://markweinguitarlessons.com/fo...September-Open-House-Guitar-and-Lesson-Raffle! - maybe I'll play a little bit with the guys and then do the drawing or something. We'll probably also still have a webcast clinic with Tom or myself or both since we'll be here.

How come when i try to buy a ticket, it says Security Token Missing?

Weird.

waitaminute...it's the 10th?

...shit...I gotta go to a wedding...I HATE weddings...

if I win the raffle do I need to be online? I hope not...

I was reminded yesterday of a fishing trip on the 10th so I wouldn't have been able to make it. :(

I'll be buying a ticket or two soon.

You don't need to be online or present to win, just have a ticket in the jar.

I'll be back on in a bit.

did I mention that I HATE weddings?

...I had to buy a new shirt AND pants for it...

SUCKS!

I don't know... I've had a little good luck with single bridesmaids over the years... Maybe you'll get lucky...

it's my 19 year old nephew's wedding...and most of the bridal party is family...and all of their friends are teenagers...

...gettinglucky is decidedly NOT an option...

Well, it's not a good option, I'll admit... Still, you never know... There might be some friend of theirs who is divorced and looking for a some jello...

Some limitations that come along are just too big to manage. Go with it. Wisdom might be telling you to postpone the open house.
Oh, and don't beat yourself up over it. That's our job!

I might have to resort to *gasp* an envelope.

I haven't bought a stamp in ages. :embarrassed:
