Well, not really but I had someone contact me on Facebook this week because he really dug the demo I did with my The Paul and the Pure 90's:



Since he was local he asked if he could come by and hear the guitar in person and if I could check out his instrument, which we did yesterday...he had an old Highway 1 strat with a Hum/Single/Single configuration and I told him he should look into some of the other pickups that Bryan makes that would directly replace what he has in the guitar since the p90's don't really fit the instrument or the style of music that he plays. I think he really dug the video but the difference in my guitar vs his is so big that just dropping the same pickups into his strat wouldn't get him the sound he's looking for...

I have to get with you about some pups. Can I get the strat sized P-90's in a pre-wired pickgaurd? And do you offer the same discount to forum members here as on HC? I'm on HC but haven't posted there in several years.

I was also thinking of a V60 in the neck and middle and a P-90 in the bridge. Would that work? Would they balance out ok?

Actually I was going to contact you anyway since I have a strat that I need to put back together that is a double for my Suhr...what do you suggest for a Hum/single/single Swamp ash strat? It'll be getting a new rosewood neck, too. I have a more vintage or low output thing going on with the suhr but maybe a modern or higher output feel might be better for this guitar....I haven't really made up my mind yet..
