It’s nicely understated. But the reverse Fender headstock looks completely out of place. A Jackson headstock would have worked better.

Snowy White played a Carvin for awhile in the '80s, a CM140. So maybe...

This looks more like Gus G's guitar though, and he has switched to Jackson (from ESP)

The Carvin CM140 was Carvin's single-cut LP-looking guitar.

I saw him in photographs live with his Carvin, so it just wasn't one of those things where he endorsed it and never played it. I just can't find anything on the web to post other than that catalogue picture.

I'm a sucker for reverse headstocks, and single humbucker is always fun.
binding on the headstock is a nice touch, as is the lack of inlays.
I think I'd wish the volume knob was a bit closer to the bridge/pickup
