I love my Danos, but I think they are MDF.

This is the one I bought at a pawn shop somewhere in the midwest and turned into an electric sitar.

This is from the first run of reissues back in '99. Still has the original strings, too. Sounds and plays incredible.

Nice to know there are others Danelectro folks here. As much as I wanted an original Silvertone, I am glad to have my reissues.
