blah, blah, blah...
No, not kidding at all. A sales manager would be better.
I got screwed by a new sales trainee and the guy training him a while back. I never bothered to settle with them at the time as I had a lot bigger shit going on.
Anyway I purchased a M-Audio "air" computer recording interface. I had to replace a previous 10 year old M-Audio interface and computer. I used ProTools for years. Wanted to keep using it. ProTools was mentioned in the web site. I specifically asked the sales guy if it was true that I needed Windows 10 computer specifically for PT. I was told yes. I go to Micro-Center and buy the fastest Windows 10 machine they sell.
The M-Audio interface shows up. I open the box and find a sheet on top that states big bold letters that M-Audio no longer supports ProTools or the other way around. I tried a couple of the other recording softwares included but just can't catch on faster than my patience and ADD will tolerate. I want ProTools back.
I have a shopping list that is growing quite pricey. I want to see what Sweetwater will be willing to do to help remedy my recording situation before I drop any more money there.
