No I couldn't find anything that says what wood it is. I did find that there is enough wood for maybe 10 guitars and that he might sell some of them. Probably not cheap

I can’t imagine that it’s cost as much as you’d think for a handmade guitar. Unless, of course, you’ve never checked out handmade guitar prices.

I don’t know him personally, have never played one of his instruments, and I don’t know whether I know anyone who has. So I can’t speak to quality.

I don't know - it sure could be! I had a travel guitar (Go-Guitars Grande) made with figured walnut B&S. It sounded great for its size.
