Sbarro's Pizza is still around?

I havent seen one in years. Was up near Mt. Pleasant / Midlands, MI on Friday and saw a billboard for a Sbarro's Pizza inside a Shell gas station. I think the Sbarros in the local mall food court left about 15 years ago! I didnt know they were still in existance?

We have one in the nearby outlet mall, and there’s one in the Walden Galleria in Buffalo.

Also, a couple up Toronto way.

I’m pretty sure the only one that I’ve ever been to is the one in Ottawa. Well, Kanata really. That was probably more than 10 years ago and I would have been travelling for work and staying in the hotel next to the outlet stores.

Google maps says there are five in Denver. I haven’t eaten at Sbarro’s in twenty years, maybe I should go for old time’s sake.

The two I run into are on the 80/90 toll road from Toledo to Chicago. I think there are still some in Chicago as well.

Used to go to one in our mall growing up. Haven't been in years. I think they moved from malls to gas stations and airports as malls have closed or slowed down.

Hmm, Uno is still around. But it’s on the other side of Denver, I’m definitely not driving that far. But Roman Delight is gone; now it’s just one family restaurant in Pennsylvania.

My only experience with Sbarro's was on the Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway when we used to travel between Baltimore and West Brookfield. It was the one thing I knew I could eat along the way.

I haven't thought of them in years, now.

Something I ran into when on a trip to the east coast (south Charleston) was a Schlotzky's

We used to have those all over the place, but I hadn't seen one in probably 7 - 10 years.

.... and apparently after my recent google search (pic above) the last location in North Carolina closed shortly afterwards. :(

Holy Shit @Jbird .... they still have a couple in Battle Creek???... but according to Google, those are the only ones left in the State of Michigan!

I haven’t seen a Schlotzky's since I moved out of Virginia. I don’t think I ever ate at the one in Manasshole.

There are still several Schlotzsky's in and around my neighborhood.

The place I miss is Quiznos. Apparently the franchise is still going, but I've not seen an actual Quiznos in the wild in years.

Quiznos’ sandwiches were great. It’s a shame that the company was rotten.
