Ryobi is overrated. Porter-Cable is still king.

I like Ryobi's cordless mower, weed whacker, and leaf blower, but I don't use any of their power tools.

My Porter Cable impact driver is the best thing I've ever owned. Battery last freaking forever. My old Ryobi used to die after every project.

I ain't got no problem with Porter Cable but I had hell with their customer service getting a replacement part under warranty.

I have a Porter-Cable air compressor that I use once a year to blow out my sprinkler system. The only power tool I own is a Ryobi electric drill with a cord because I use it so rarely that the battery would always run down on my old cordless drill.

My brother uses Ryobi stuff and it sewms decent. I personally prefer De Walt.

When I bought my house 10 or 15 years ago and was doing a lot of home improvements, Ridgid had the contract with Emerson Electric that Craftsman had abandoned. I have no idea if that's still true, but my oldish Ridgid power tools have been great.

I’ve got some old Porter Cable and some newer stuff. The newest stuff was one of those 5 piece tool sets, drill, flashlight, circular saw, etc. I’m on the second pair of batteries and still going strong. The old stuff is like a tank.

I've got a bunch of DeWalt stuff, some Porter Cable, Bosch, and Craftsman--and the sawzall has to be Milwaukee.

I use Ryobi's 18v and 40v line - I like the stuff! Very portable and not married to an AC Cord.

Had a Makita (batteries bad - too old) and a few items from Milwaukee, Old Craftsman and DeWalt.

I have some 10-15 year old porter cable stuff that is great. I really like my Makita 18c drill and impact gun set.
