The Slab 72 Custom is RS’s version of the early 70′s design with a modern twist. They chose what they felt were the best parts of the guitars then added a flatter radius, slightly larger frets, and upgraded components and electronics. All this making a great playing and sounding guitar with more sonic range and playability.

My Rev Buckshot covers the same territory for about $2400.00 less. I really like that pickup config though.
 
Meh. I just think that teles do not have to cost that much. Maybe half that for a really nice one that has that awesome custom instrument feel such as the Suhrs or whatever, but not that much. I do like the '72 style controls including the LP style volume and tone set up. I kinda wish there was a pick guard style that was in between that huge thing, and none at all.
