Rolling Stone’s 15 Greatest Whistling Songs of All-Time

I'm glad that (beside Bobby McFarrin, which if they were ranked would be my choice for #1) they didn't omit the Andy Griffith theme... as that was the first "whistling" song that popped up in my head.


In the real world, I'm generally annoyed by whistling.... and even moreso by people who insist on mindlessly whistling. :annoyed:

Yep the Andy theme song was the first that popped into my head as well
 
'Young Folks' is post-punk? :confused:

I like 'Dock of the Bay' best, probably. 'Centerfold' and 'Young Folks' do really good at making the whistling the centrepoint of the song.

Well, aside from their getting the name of John Lennon's song wrong, I prefer his whistling in this song (although it's all the way at the end)


And how could they forget this one?
