Here is a very rare 1996 USA built Robin Avalon Special Pearl Top guitar. Only three were ever built and only one in this color. Features a White Pearloid top and matching headstock, Black pearl pickguard and truss rod cover, and pearl top Rio Grande pickups. Other features include a double bound body, bound neck and headstock, Mahogany body and neck, set neck design, 22 jumbo frets, 24 3/4″ scale, vintage Keystone style tuners, pearl dots and nickel hardware. Looks amazing! Excellent condition, looks like its been in its case all its life. 18 year old guitar purchased as a collector’s item. Includes original hardshell Robin case.

For some reason, I don't hate that.

About the only thing that jumps out at me are the pickup rings. Black doesn't seem to be the right colour, but i'm not sure what colour I would choose.
 
I'm agreeing with others that the pickguard should go. I think they hit it out of the park with the pearl top, though, and I wouldn't hate it with the pickguard. I'd definitely take it off the wall for a spin to see how it sounds.
 
Robins are awesome guitars.....that said that one is a bit much.....looks too much like a kitchen counter. Decent surface to chop up snacks at a gig though.
