:rawk:

I think Till from Rammstein should move up a bit, he is a great frontman.

Maybe Halford should move up a couple ticks as well.

I think old Steven Tyler is probably the best frontman I've seen, followed closely by an old DLR.

I think DLR in his prime was probably the best. :embarrassed:

Marilyn Manson and Serj Tankian higher on the list than fucking LEMMY?!?!

List fail!

Several on the list are not 'frontmen' at all........Angus is not the frontman for AC/DC - that was Bon Scott/Brian Johnson. And Bon belongs on the list...

Paul Stanley fronts Kiss - not Simmons. And Stanley belongs on the list...

Missing from the list that I would include....

Phil Moog - UFO
Geoff Tate - Queensryche
Dave Mustaine - Megadeth
Klaus Meine - Scorpions
Chris Cornell
Freddy Mercury (though Queen probably isn't metal. But neither is Aerosmith....)
Alice Cooper
Fee Waybill - The Tubes
Bono - Love him or hate him he is a great frontguy.....

Alice was number 7. :embarrassed:

But yes, some very good calls on your list.

Looks like they had a hard time coming up with 50 and had to throw some oddball non-frontman choices and artists from other genres into the mix. Pete Steele doesn't even make the list?

Gene Simmons was the front man? Yeah - he sang a few songs - but Paul Stanley picked up the vocals more then Gene??????

Frontman in the sense of who defines the band, who do people go to see at the show.

Therefore some would be considered FRONTMEN.

Bon Scott did need to be on the list though.

However I only really like Kiss songs done by Gene.

And I do consider Scott Ian to be the heart & soul of Anthrax.

Halford in his prime should be way higher.

Halford's placement is SOOOO WRONG.

Below Gene Simmons.... and below... DEE FUCKING SNYDER? Are they seriously saying Dee Snyder was a better frontman than one of the ORIGINAL METAL GODS?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?
