RIP Ross Bolton

Through FB and my MI friends I sadly have heard the passing of Ross Bolton. He was a great instructor and mentor to me at GIT when I attended there. I was glad to be able to catch up with him at the MI reunion last year and he will be missed - RIP Mr. Bolton.

Yeah...I saw that yesterday. I never knew him in person but he was a huge influence on both how I play and how I teach rhythm guitar. :(

I bought his book after seeing his video, which was posted here. Incredibly talented player, and by all accounts a nice guy and excellent teacher.

Ross looked great at the MI reunion - Sad to see him pass.

Ross was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in late January. He passed away on March 30th. He was 54 years old.
