Hell of a legacy, hell of a life. Is his legacy tainted by Michael Jackson? I kind of thought so but then watched the documentary Rashida made a few years ago and he just came across as such a solid and kind guy. We Are The World also forgives a lot of sins.

Is Quincy Jones to blame for Michael Jackson being a pedophile? No. I’m betting Quincy was fooled just like Elizabeth Taylor and others were fooled. Many people are still in denial.

RIP Quincy Jones. You left a huge mark on a plethora of music. 91 is a good run.

Yeah - I think his assessment of the Beatles aligns with the "No talent, these guys'll never make it" sort of vibe from Decca. I think he also opined that McCartney was the worst bass player he'd ever heard. However, I think Jones was a bit of a bullshitter and liked to mess with people so I take that with a grain of salt.
