Recreational Pot in California

I looked at CA.gov and there is a total of 1 dispensary open with a legal temporary license as of 1/2/18. Santa Ana. I'm not really much of a week smoker, but definitely wouldn't drive to Santa Ana for it. Vietnamese food yes (Santa Ana is home to Little Saigon), weed no. According to the news there are a bunch of places open up in the Bay area and north, but they don't show up on CA.gov.

Don't all you Californians have medical cards already? I know I would

Yeah they're easy to get. I'm not that ambitious or motivated and never wanted to end up on some list somewhere. I'm a smoke weed once or twice a year kind of person. I actually need my mind fully alert for my job and graduate studies, and avoid smoking anything as I am an avid cyclist and runner.

That sounds so dated, we've had medical marijuana for years. No one has a pot "dealer" in California anymore.
So there is no illegal pot in CA?

You might have another name for him.
He is still a dealer.

pretty much this for me as well (minus cyclist and graduate studies ) except I smoked daily for over 25 years and I have zero desire to ever smoke again...life (for me) is much better without now. We've had MM in AZ for a number of years. We have billboard signs advertising dispensaries and a few even deliver if you "are unable to get out and about"...i.e (too lazy).Within a 5minute walk from me There is three dispensaries and if I did a 5 mile radius there are probably 12.

When I need weed I look at my government website.

I was thinking maybe In-And-Out could carry some, but the lines at their drive-thrus are already too long.

They busted an employee working at a Sonic near me for just that. I guess if you knew what special order to place, you got a little bonus with your burger and fries.

They were wondering why he sold more milkshakes than all the other employees combined...
