According to this,. there was a tornado down the block from me. Like one block south of my house. It was AFTER the tornado warning ended at 10 PM. I had no clue. I was busy getting ready for bed.
In Houston we had a "derecho" that completely shut down downtown a few weeks ago, and last week a direct hit from a hurricane. Some people still are without power, and some traffic lights are still down. In San Marcos a couple months ago we had a furious thunder/windstorm that may or may not have included a tornado.

Until a rotation center develops, the predicted track won't firm up. Hit or miss, the Houston area will still feel some intense wind starting early morning Wednesday.
We’ve had a pleasant break from the oppressive heat and humidity the last few days.
Weather has been damn near perfect, clear skies, highs in the mid to upper 80s and lows in low 70s-upper 60s.

I am pretty sure that something hit it a tore a hole in one side and then the wind just opened it up.
The car cover blew off as well, but didn’t get far.
