I saw these on Reverb and have never heard of them before. I like the looks of this one.

Interesting.

Fortunately the price is a bit more PT Cruiser and not so much PT Barnum.

These are MIC, and while some I have seen look nice, until I would test one in person I think there are more palatable options.

What gets me is that these seem to be a subsidiary of a wholesale company (like rev said), and not a dedicated guitar or musical instrument manufacturer, but who m I to judge

Does that have a two-position switch? "Classic old-school switching: Front position: standard Volume/Tone controls ; Back position: Tone pot bypass - Full throat Wide Open Twang!" Something I've never heard of before on an esquire. I'm thinking that at that price it's aiming squarely at the CV Squier market.

Hello and thanks all for your interest in PT Berger Guitars! I know this is an old thread but I just discovered it. To answer some of the comments above:

1. We're very small, no "subsidiary" to anyone, pretty much just me and a couple shop dogs. Indeed a very Dedicated Guitar Company (member of NAMM since 2010).
2. We work with suppliers and factories 'round the globe to create our designs: Korea, China, Vietnam, USA, Europe. Final assembly and customs works at our small shop near St. Paul MN USA.
3. Very low overhead, very tight quality controls and lots of unpaid time bring in our guitars at this low "wholesale" price point.
4. We're actually aiming a few notches above the CV Squier market. Our Small Batch Boutique Production gets you a lot more guitar for a few bucks more.
5. Any other questions you can also check us out at our new website, just google pt berger guitars .

Thanks again for the input and all the positive comments! Keep on rockin' -

Thanks for the info. Why don't you pull up a chair and stay a while?
