That's a straight-up, unqualified "yes." The playability on the two I've played for any length of time was perfectly fine, though a Tusq nut wouldn't hurt anything (just on general principles).
It's a really nice LP Jr. clone but somehow even more simple. The single control packs a lot of subtle versatility into the combination of one knob+playing dynamics. It's refreshingly direct, though you may find yourself riding the knob more than you do on other guitars (umm, that sounded dirtier than I meant it). The pickup is pretty nice with a good midrange punch both clean and dirty, though there are definitely better ones out there. It sounds damned good, but dropping in a used Gibson P90 or Fralin soapbar would likely improve it.
The neck has a bit of heft to it but it's not a baseball bat; I have smaller hands and it was perfectly comfortable. It could stand a little ScotchBrite on the back to knock down the glossy/sticky thing a bit, but that's it. It is solid feeling, but not deceptively heavy like a some slab bodies can be.
I would definitely jump on it if it were priced well.
