Post your hammers ...let's see those hammers!!!

this is my 5 lb sledge it’s probably 40 years old because it was at the shop before me. I’ve been using it (as did everyone who ever worked here) since 1993 but it was well used first time I ever handled it. It's primarily a front end hammer to bust apart tie rods, ball joints , etc so that’s why it’s got the electrical tape and rubber hose under it in order to protect is from mis-swings….it’s a beast and the head isn’t even loose even after years , decades of doing home run swings with it...just an amazing hammer and props to the Japanese guy who forged it *spits*

Once you go one of these you'll never go back to the old kind. you just push it into the bore with your thumbs. last one I was tryi g to do on a Izuzu NPR (had the Chevy gas engine) I broke a ring using one of the old style scissor types where you tap it in with the butt of the hammer so I researched and discovered these. I won't ever install a psiton again without these, just to easy.
