Picked up my amp. Tremolo works and replaced a couple preamp and output tubes. She’s back to factory specs. as if new 50 years ago.

How are you liking the amp now the tremolo is fixed? Have you been playing any of the songs from this thread?

I haven’t played it a lot, but I tried a few of my songs with some tremolo and it made me smile from ear to ear.

Julien Baker does some interesting rhythm work with tremolo, delay, and overdrive. I've been spending time listening to her solo work as well as with Boygenius. I'm working with a Boygenius tribute project and will be playing guitar instead of bass for this, so I'm studying how she plays. And I'm trying to make my effects board as small as possible knowing that she has a huge board that she can get some really interesting sounds out of.

I saw James Carr sometime in the mid 90s at a blues club here called Rosas Lounge. His backing band that night was the Platinum Band, a nine piece outfit whose main gig was being the band for Tyrone Davis. It was a pretty good show.
