Hot or Not? Peekamoose Model 2

Muppet

Cat in the Hat
Have these ever been featured on here before? Can someone tell me why I'd want to spend $3250 on it?

Peekamoose Custom Guitars are the results of over three decades supporting professional and amateur clients. A large part of that time was spent repairing, modifying, and upgrading other manufacturers’ instruments to work around basic design quirks that hinder a player's performance. That 30+ years of bench time is tempered by over forty years as a player. These guitars are designed to feel instantly familiar, possess great touch sensitivity, and a provide a sonic pallet that far exceeds the expectations of the players who own them. $3250

That might be the worst headstock design I've ever seen. The rest of the guitar looks quite nice but not $3K nice...It's a tele after all.

Yeah, it is a Telecaster. I love Telecasters but would not pay a premium price for nothing different other than headstock fail.

I pretty much hate the guitar, but I can tell you that pekamoose refretted a steinberger neck for me many years ago, and they are a TOP shelf custom shop/repair place. One of a very few people who are willing to work on composite necks. The refret they did for me was really fantastic.

Three decades of work and refinement and they come up with one of the ten worst headstock designs in human history? That does not speak too highly to me of what the rest of the 'refinements' might be.

And all middle pickups fail?

I have no problem with middle pickups... Actually as much as I can admire a nice paint job or burst, I really don't give a shit what a guitar looks like... About the only thing I notice when I'm playing a guitar is how it feels, where the fret markers are, and if the volume knob is in my way... In fact, since I have begun my punk/metal/rock for kids, I'm thinking of decorating my orange Ibby...

You may not have a problem with middle pickups, but Howie does.
