Out of my brain on the train

Turns out Quadrophenia is available on Max. I hadn't watched it in forever and it holds up surprisingly well. It's just gorgeous to look at, and you're completely transported. It captures all the angst and confusion and passion and bravado and stupidity of youth beautifully. Phil Daniels was incredible.

As you were, carry on.

Been a very long time for me as well. May be worth a re-watch. I was probably in my late teens when I saw Quadrophenia and didn't know or appreciate the history of the Mods and Rockers in the UK.

It's been 2 or 3 decades for me.
I recall it was well worth watching. Even Sting was good.

I really enjoyed Quadrophenia as a teen. I re-watched it a few years ago.

I've had something similar for 30+ years. It is my favorite cold weather coat, as it's warm, has a hood, and is long enough to cover almost mid-thigh.

I confess I started shopping for reproduction M51 parkas.

I wore one of those on national guard FTXs during the winter in Idaho. Worst.winter.jacket.ever.

Loved the album and listened to it a lot when it came out in...'74? I thought the movie was a bit of a headscratcher, but I only watched it once - may be better on reviewing.
