Opinions on Samick Strat Type

I am not a Strat guy at all, But in my local CL, I see somone has a Samick Strat clone for $50. Should I jump on it - even to flip?

For $50 even if it sucks you'll have a body and some parts to use for something else.

I have a samick bass that I'm quite happy with...a factory second that was repaired and sold on eBay fpr 125.00...

Perhaps. They are a lot like Cort. They make many different lines for many brands.

For $50, yes. You could sell the body for $60-$75 if you don't like it.

I sent them an email saying I would buy it Sunday night. I have not heard back - so who knows what is going on with it.

Well - I am not too hopeful about this. The guy sends me one email every couple days, and he has not given me his phone number so I can get a hold of him. He may be jerking my chain.
