I hear your point, but as the whole political spectrum has shifted so much further to the right since the 80's, at a certain point, Dems have to stand up for the old traditional Democratic positions and values, and consider new ways of doing things such as they do in other countries (Healthcare, education), and stand firm on the environment and the growing economic disparity issues. That the conversation has over the years moved so far right does not make these positions any further left. Might seem that way in light of the results of years of trickle down theories and "let the companies do what they want"/deregulation movement. But it is not. As I have said before, if neoliberalism continues to appease further the radical right, we slowly lose in a battle of a thousand cuts.Warren is the Democrat version of Rand Paul. Lots of bloody meat for the fringe, no pragmatism that might accomplish something. Much like Bernie.
