What’s really pissing me off isn’t that he did it. Of course he did. What pisses me off is that the press are using a euphemism to describe what would be called “embezzling” if a member of the middle class did it. Between this and the mainstream media calling every neo-Nazi in America “alt-right” I expect that when Trump reinstates torture by executive order the press will go back to calling it “enhanced interrogation techniques.”

w/r/t Trump dropping some of his platform, I'm not complaining. Hell, a good portion of it was outside of the powers of the office in the first place.
I doubt the inconsistencies of the mad-libs candidate now mad-libs President elect is going to bother too many of his supporters.

I'm having an issue with trump giving a bigly position like SoS to a guy that publicly insulted him. That's not Trump's style, so something else is a motivating factor here. Selling positions in the government is more in line with Trump's style.

Remember, Mike Pence is in charge of all foreign and domestic affairs. If Pence wanted Romney, Trump wouldn't push back. It's his team. Trump is just the outward face.

Infotainment, fake news, & to a degree what used to be somewhat reputable sources of news like the TV network news seem to have debased the 4th estate. MSM has become shorthand for lies and bias when you don't agree with a story. There's a lot of talk right now about how to suppress some of this blatantly fake news and restore some credibility to the MSM but we, the people who consume this info junk food, are the problem. We've voted with our likes and shares. We've overwhelmingly made our opinion clear and that is we don't want fact, we want to fuel our beliefs.

Denial.

Supremacists send up serious red flags for me. But just as bad are some of my own family who are saying "well, they won't be coming after the Jews, so it'll be ok." No, it's most definitely not ok.
