I think this is more true than many people understand. Maybe it's HC's fault, but a lot of us get into a routine, goofing and giving each other shit to pass the time. You and I have gone round and round, on multiple forums. I think despite your particular schtick, you seem to be a good guy and I count you as one of my internet friends, so to speak. Same goes for JJ and OGG. As for Flamencology, we had our small issues in the past, and I think we both got skewed impressions of each other. I had been making small attempts to change that with him here over the month or so before the big blow up (of which i had no part) and am quite willing to continue those gestures.
I think we need tome type of internet 'safe word' or tap-out when someone loses their self in their schtick.
My safe word will be "Go Fuck Yourself". Will that work?

Hell, I didn't even realize forumites had "internet personalities". Lol. At least make it interesting. Today I'm Batman, tomorrow I'm Wonder Woman, next week I'll be God. How mundane to be a dickhead today, tomorrow an asshole, and next week I'm going to be Major Asshole.

That's me for sure. If the at home me came out online I'd be banned. I'm not mean to my family and friends, but some things that come out of my mouth wouldn't go over well with pretty much anybody. I have a good filter in public though.

On another forum I frequent, there's a specific sub-forum for when people start going at each other....the posts or the entire thread gets moved to that forum.
The subsequent posts don't appear on the "what's new" or activity feeds so as a result, no one besides the people hurling poo at each other really participate in the thread. The moment it's off the general forum's radar and no one is watching, it's amazing how quickly the fights die off. Maybe Mark needs a grudge match forum for these occasions ..

I've toyed with that idea before but Ive been afraid that would turn into the new lounge and then no traffic would show in the "public" area.
