Have had the ES-5 from Boss for a while and haven't really paid attention to the paralell loop thing. But then we started playing this Floyd tune (What Do You Want From Me from Division Bell), and I couldn't quite get it to sound right. But...just remembered this ES-5 has that ability. Ran the MD-200 Rotary mode (slow Leslie type effect) in paralell after the gain stuff - which is pretty much what David does albeit with an actual Rotary cabinet mixed together with his amp, and wow. There that sound is.
Doing that at band practice tonight is the most fun I've had in years.
