Has the smoke cleared enough now to get back to discussing the really important stuff? I hope so.

We're at under 3 months until Pragestock 2010. July 30 through August 1. Special layover dates for those flying in.

Anybody bought their airline tickets yet?

Anybody thought of any songs for an official 'set list' yet?

Will the telecaster911 GA-20 be a reality in time for Pragestock?

Will we have fresh bacon for breakfast this year?

Is there enough beer in Jackson County, WV to keep us stocked for the entire weekend?

Well, you could start stocking up now .... provided, y'know, that you can keep from too much "quality control testing"! :grin:

At the moment I'm not doing too good on this one. We've taken a couple of pretty large hits this week both in business and staff that is probably going to chain me to the studio for the summer.

Everyone gets a vacation but me, it seems. :mad:
 
That sucks Mark. Although, I think you're probably too tall to fit in my studio anyway. The ceiling is only about 7', and there are two ceiling fans in there too. I imagine you'd probably have at least one concussion by the end of the weekend. :embarrassed:

The summers are always hard around here and the recession (which I think is still in full swing around here) have made people less inclined to pay for lessons when they have to pay for the vacation to Europe or whatever else it is they cant afford but still need to be seen doing.

I'm a little bitter this week.
 
I'm buying plane tickets as soon as we get Mrs D's surgery dates. It should be way before then, but I won't know for another week yet.

We do need a song list for sure.

And no - not enough beer. We will have to borrow from the next county over. Lino can pick it up for us.....
 
The drummerboy would really like to attend, especially since it's practically in my backyard. I should be able to swing it if all goes well this summer with my research and all.

So is this like a camping thing? Cause I've been wanting to go camping for the past 2 weeks like crazy, but I probably won't get to until June.

It can be a camping thing if you want it to be. Our house has enough floor space to accomodate a bunch of people on inflatable mattresses though. Or, you can bring a tent and camp in our yard. There's not much in the immediate area as far as actual campsites go, and if it's anything like last year, we'll be up drinking for so long that you'll pretty much end up just sleeping wherever you happen to pass out. :embarrassed:

The drummer in the rock band booked a job on pragestock Saturday...I told him have fun, I won't be at the gig.

I've gone from 0% chance to about 25%...my vacation was rescheduled...but cash is a little tight.

I may have to sell backpacking gear due to my foot condition so there may be possible funds available there...

For me it still depends on finances. It's taken a bit longer than expected to get out of the financial clusterfuck I'm currently in. :embarrassed:
If airfare prices don't go up much, I should be able to swing it. I've already set aside vacation days for it. :)

Got a lot of gigs lined up before then, so hopefully I'll manage to make this happen. :thu:
 
My vacation request is in - this year, I'm taking the damn Monday after off, last year Monday was painful...
