Help! OD pedal noise (Lovepedal Eternity content)

Guitar Heel

Demented Trick
I recently purchased a Lovepedal Eternity Roadhouse (essentially a TS clone, from what I have gathered). The Level knob is super tight, which bothers me a bit. But my primary concern is that it generates quite a bit of noise when activated, even on low Gain/Level settings. My Fuzz, which I have set to "Plaid," is crazy noisy too (much worse), but I'd expect that.

So, is it normal for a low/med gain OD to make considerable noise when engaged? Maybe I just haven't noticed in the past.

I've never had that pedal, but that doesn't sound normal. How are you powering it? I would power it alone, plug only that pedal into the amp and plug nothing into the pedal. Kick the pedal on and see if there is noise just to see if it is the pedal and not something else in the chain.

One Spot... OK, thanks! I'll try that tonight.

How many different names/editions can he give the Eternity?

Eternity V1-V∞
Eternity Burst
Eternity Kanji
Eternity Roadhouse
Black, White, Silver, etc.
Some are hand-wired, some not, some were done as either.

they're all supposedly a little different, but I've watched some reviews and those differences are very minor. White is a little hotter, roadhouse is a little darker, burst is a little...wait for it..."woodier."
