Yes, that's Oolong. :)
I've been hot/cold when it comes to compressors. I got a cheap Mooer yellow comp a while back, did horrible things to my Splawn's tone. Did some research and I'm a big fan of Wampler pedals and I needed a small pedal so after lots of videos and spec searching I pulled the trigger on the mini Ego compressor.
Man it's nice! Got it dialed in with more sustain than I thought I'd use and the blend knob is a must have, it really shines to get things just right. Of course it's most useful on the clean channel (adds sustain to the drive channel and that's fine, no negative impact at all). I was playing with it on trying different songs we do and then turned it off and wow... Where did the tone go! It gives a nice "oomph" to the tone and of course does the compression thing really well.
I'll probably be using it as an "on most of the time" kind of thing.
It is extremely transparent unlike others from what I've heard.
Anyway if you're thinking about a compressor give it a shot. cvogue says 2 thumbs up!
