December in my family.

I’m only in my 30s, but I grew up with a family that was very much a “tree and decorations go up on Dec 20th or 21st” sort.

I cringe whenever people start pulling that shit in autumn.
Christmas Season started the day after Thanksgiving in my house.
Being from NYC,Thanksgiving Day Parade had a lot to do with it.

Also not clicking on that, but if that's a Jbird style metal band playing christmas music, that's NEVER ok

Last year I was working on a Christmas CD, so I started with Christmas music in June or July. I am hoping to avoid in until after Thanksgiving this year.

Us Dutch people (Netherlands, not ‘Deutsch’) celebrate the ORIGINAL Santa on 5 dec. only after that can you think of Xmas

In our house, I was out voted. They start the day after Thanksgiving. If it was up to me, they would never be played. Well except the Bad Religion Christmas record.
