Help! Noise Suppressor

so I got a Boss NS-2 and I want to use it.

My current setup:

Guitar > Tuner > BOSS HM-2 distortion pedal > Laney 100w tube head input (clean channel)

FX loop send > Reverb pedal > Delay pedal > FX loop return

Where would I put the NS-2 to be able to cut noise from distortion pedal as well as the overall amp noise level

I tried thid method, but it does nothing to the distortion pedal noise

I’ve never used a noise gate but where you have it seems like it makes sense, after the pedals and preamp.

Wish I could help. I’ve never used a noise gate. I would think in the loop is the way to go if you were using high gain from the amp’s preamp, or in front of the amp if you get your gain from pedals only.

My noise gate is the Off switch on my amp. thwap0

I have two noise gates. Built into the Waller/ISP head and built into the ISP Theata preamp pedal. Sorry, no help here.
