I didn't see a thread about it, so thought maybe PG wasn't doing it anymore. But nope, they did, it was Dec 4th apparently. I guess we missed it. :shrug:

@PunkKitty .... we have a bottle of this sauce coming to our X-mas gathering next week.

I will be rooting for Notre Dame.... my Son-in-Law will be rooting for Indiana University..... loser has to eat a Malort Face Hot Wing. :embarrassed:
 
Every time I've done it I've gotten stuff I don't need or want. I see people getting pedals and other cool stuff and I get an expensive pick and a strap that seems like they just wanted it out of the office.

I've read a whole bunch of people skipped it this year and went for things like the Chase Bliss and Wren & Cuff mystery boxes.

I bit again. This time I got a DOD fuzz pedal. By far the best thing I've ever gotten from it. It looks like most people have bailed from it. I got an email the day after they went on sale saying they were still available. The first couple years they sold out in minutes.

Can you blame people for not buying in on this BS? For $50 you get a cheap strap and a set of strings... if you're lucky. No thanks.

Malort is good actually and people who act like it’s super icky are being weird. As an astringent, medicinal liqueur/digestif it’s not a sip and savor everyday sort of thing, but it’s not bad.

Marz does/did a Malort spritz in a can that was actually pretty tasty (for a canned cocktail).

It's not bad in cocktails. I haven't acquired a taste for it straight. As Carl Jeppson IV once said "it tastes like an abortion clinic in Iceland".
 
I did it hoping for something super cool.
I did get a Fender guitar strap, a D'Addario camo guitar strap and a set of D'Addario NYXL electric strings in my favorite gauge, 10-46.
I know a couple guitar players who can use the straps, so I get to play Santa I suppose.
