New Inherited Solid State Amp Day!

I picked this up from uncle’s place today.
He used it for a vocal PA when he needed to be load enough for his magic act.

1985 Peavey Audition 20
It’s 12W, but pretty loud for practice.

The gain knobs are fun. One dimed into the other makes some interesting overdrive tones. Even with some TV Jones pickups going into it. You can get some pretty good singing lady, creamy tones out of it.

I haven’t tried any pedals with it yet, but the clean settings seem like a pretty solid platform.

HNAD! My first “real” amp was from the same line. It was a stereo chorus/delay thing that actually sounded pretty decent to my teenage ears. Can’t remember what happened to it.
