Nice...

I'm down to three pedals - tuner, H2O and Jekyll/Hyde.

What is the double bunny drive??

I was going to by an EQ pedal with the cash from the Dyna Comp sale - but I needed to renew my antivirus software subscription.

Wow, I thought Mark was bad.

DetailS on tube zone plz?

both Mark and Prages are slowly becoming me. now if only i could play like them, i'd really have something.

Tube Zone is a highly tweakable distortion. it is not transparent at all. lots of filtering. it's the Prego marinara sauce of pedals. you wanna sound like a cranked Marshall? it's in there. Mesa Rectifier? it's in there. slightly breaking up blooz lawyer? it's in there. you just have to learn how to set it. i bought it because the Double Rocket Drive that precedes it (two Way Huge Red Llamas) gets flubby in high gain situations. it's great for everything else though.

Hmm, I may have to pick that up eventually.

Oh yeah, I did what you said about turning down the drive all the way on the OS-2 and all that, and DAMN it sounds good. Definitly like the sound better than my DD or OS-2 by themselves. Although I'll still use the DD alone for heavier distortion situations. Thanks man! AOK

the trick is learning how to stack distortions.

if you look at the pic, there are two dirt pedals. the first is the Way Huge Angry Troll. the second is the Double Bunny Drive. the Way Huge is not only a boost, but it stacks diodes to boost itself. so it gets a very early Marshall tone, but it's really best for driving an amp or distortion pedal. so you put that first. next is the Red Llama side of the Bunnydrive. this is the main distortion. third is the LPB-1 side of the Llama. this will take whatever signal is put into it and make it louder. also adds a tiny bit of grit. so i can mix and match between the 3 to get whatever sound i want.

you can try this with the DD and OS2. much in the same way that the Jekyll & Hyde or Vai Jemini pedals work.

Very intriguing. I'll have to do some more experienmental stuff with my pedals and microcube...

I always thought this video was pretty funny...
