New mics incoming!

I got a pair of Rode M5 mics on the way. Now that I got my kick drum mic back, and my friend has one of them Zoom multitrack portable recorders, we're gonna try to record some jams.

I think these will work well as acoustic guitar mics in addition to overheads.

@jelloman are these the same ones you got at Atomic?

Cool. I love my Zoom recorder; with the 12-track model I can record many tracks at once; the eight track one only did two tracks at a time.

Which one is yours again? My friend has the R16 which I think is a bit older but will do 8 tracks at a time.

Mine is the LiveTrak-12. I still have the 8-track; I should post it on Reverb.
