I finally bit the bullet and got some powered speakers for my REVV.
I have some plans for other stuff too, but the REVV is the primary motivator.

I’ve got it all set up in my office for now.
That TV dinner stand is made of vintage Korina wood.
(That’s a lie.)
I got the stool from the Muddy Waters’ estate.
(Another lie.)

Volume on 2 lets me crank the amp channels wide open..on the 10W setting, and the Master volume at about 10 o’clock.

There’s a couple of CabSIM presets that really take advantage of the stereo. The Twin Tracker feature can be turned on for any sim using the Two-Notes Remote app.

Are those the 10" or 12" Headrush?
8”

I talked myself out of the 12”
Then as I was leaving the store after placing the order for the 8”, I saw the Alesis 12” sitting on the store floor.
I should have grabbed them instead.
They’re apparently the same thing. Alesis and HeadrushFX are part of the same group of brands.

I have one of the 8 inch that came bundled with my Headrush Pedalboard from Sweetwater...it gets a little rattley when REALLY pushed but sounds surprisingly good...

I'm noticing a fizz in both speakers, with clean tones, even at low volumes.

I've got a ticket in to headrush, but wondering if I'm just hearing the rattleyness that jello mentioned.

I'm not pushing these at all. They are literally 6 feet from my head. So, loud is not an option.
Even when I think it's loud, my wife says she can't hear me downstairs.

Maybe they need more of a break-in?

Of course it's pretty much masked with any high-gain stuff, but that's not my thing really.

Edit: I've tried with two different amps as well. The REVV and the Spark 40.

Yeah. I needed the space underneath for my pedalboard. It wouldn’t fit under the TV table.
This thing allowed me to get things a bit closer together and save some wall space.

The extra shelf is a bonus and the Spark was another thing I wanted to run into the 108s.
It sounds pretty good, too.
