I hear they have trouble with rear tire wear

Not about that, but that one still does not have the suspension package I need. I need a 250/2500 level suspension and towing package for what I want to do. And that will be further down the road. So I am thinking probably a 10 year gap yet.Depending on your timeframe you might really want to think about the F150 lightning. Range is 300 in the extended range version (est'd) and it can power your house with the right configuration. It's a big reason why I didn't ultimately go with a battery backup for our solar system since I think cars will be the battery backups of the near future. Not sure if a Tesla can do that, they don't seem to advertise it so. But the Lightning probably realistically won't be available for a few years IMO (there will be ones but like the early days of the Model 3 all of those will be for those people who preordered)
Why would you do that to me? Now I'm gonna get divorced.I'd like the throwback concept with the Eluminator electric crate motor kit, please. Well, not this color.

Pretty substantial penalty. I get about 4 mpg more with the camper off. Towing the boat affects it way less. It is a 90’s Northstar pop up built out of wood, and is not super light like the new ones you see, nor super low like the new ones are too. And those new ones go for pretty big money. And I am sure it would impact the efficiency of that XL Fleet hybrid conversion too, at least to some extent. They were careful to say “up to” in their claims about greenhouse gas reduction numbers and fuel economy improvement numbers. What's the mileage penalty of your camper on your current truck? That aerodynamic drag is going to eat into your EV range too I'd image.
C&D tested towing a trailer/boat w. an Audi e-tron and it cut the vehicles range in half.
It seemed presented by that company as a rich boy’s toy sort of thing. Maybe something better will come along.I would think a conversion would be so expensive, it wouldn't make sense to do it to an older vehicle.
Well, thought about it some more, and put the $250 down to get in line and get this ordered. Expected delivery June. If I change my mind, I can probably make money on it. But thinking it will be a good fit!

It was an awesome drive! A bit different, but easy to get used to, and awesome!I drove my neighbor's Tesla a few weeks ago. It was fucking weird--cool but weird!
Thanks. I think it is worth it. I can’t really imagine being able to look at my young adult kids as we experience what is already going to happen when I was not doing something I can do within my budget, even if it is not the absolute cheapest choice I could make. And it is a nice ride too!Congrats and thank you for doing something for the planet we all share.
