I picked up a Musicman Sterling SUB 4 active humbucker with 2 way pre amp that is an incredible playing bass for less than you can get a Squire Bass for well I guess what one you buy. I got it for 231.00 to my door. I also have a SansAmp Bass Drive DI that I picked up used for 60.00 too. I got the black bass with the maple neck and board. Sounds great set-up, intonation, and pick-up height were spot on out of the box....plug and play. My bass player said he wished that he knew that they were going to make these before he paid big money for his musicman. He said he would gladly have bought that instead.
