Good game. Tight, competitive, not too much to complain about on the officiating front, fairly new guy gets to lead his team to the Championship, long time coach finally gets his win.

It was good.

I rooted for Sherm, and he was quiet for most of the game, which usually means he is doing his job. Got burned big once, made a huge effort but failed at preventing that last offensive TD. The Niners played well for a good long while, then shut down like a push rod motor that threw a rod. And Mahomes found his Mahojo again, and it was all over.

First year in forever I didn’t watch. My wife and I had tix to see filmmaker Jim Jarmusch’s musical duo do semi-improv noise scores to a series of Man Ray films at the Art Institute. It was really great and I regret nothing.
