National Football League 2019

Marshawn is reportedly coming back to the Seahawks, as they have basically no running backs left. Could be kinda cool, or, he could be out of shape and not ready to go. Hmm.

Marshawn is one of my favorite players. I hope it is the former.

He should be in shape. He bikes. As long as The Beast doesn't hit a bus, like in this video. Nice wheelies! Yes, that's really him in Scotland.

The Patriots' problems start at QB. Brady had a huge negative impact on this game, and with his legacy, the team just can't do a thing about it. He used to win by out-thinking opponents, and delivering great throws (albeit not cannon-velocity).

Noticeably, he's slowed in his decision making, and the whole 'blame his receiving corps' is overblown. Today's pick-6 is on no one but him - he was absolutely awful. You go back to his sulking when the receivers weren't playing well, and frankly I won't be sad to see him leave in the off-season. Not only is he not that good any more, but he's a huge part of a problem.

And then the Pats force 4th down with 1:40 to go in the first half, tied 10-10, Dolphins in their own end. They had 3 timeouts. Belichick let them run down the clock, then ran the ball to run out the half. WTF are you doing, Bill?

On the Dolphins' final drive, the defense looked mentally beaten (hands on hips, heads hanging when they gave up a play ....).

I'm happy to have Sundays freed up in January - lot of snow fell this week, skiing should be epic.

Well, I wasn't thinking Marshawn would come back in and make some sort of miraculous difference, and the game so far seems to be proving that out. Missing a lot of guys right now. BUT, I have my Marshawn jersey on anyway and cheering for my team and Marshawn. Hoping he breaks a run or two loose anways. They have him bottled up so far other than one or two short runs where you could see he still has drive in his legs after contact.

Pats were pathetic. The Packers weren't much better, but at least they won!

I'm in a curious situation. I'm a Packers fan, but I live about a mile from Levi's Stadium, so I'm sort of agnostic about who wins tonight.

For @sunvalleylaw . Hope we meet in the title game for a replay.
Can't really like the post, as I am pissed about a missed blatant PI call just prior to the last pass to Hollister. But I have donned the offending item as my avatar for two weeks as agreed per our usual bet.

Though Marshawn did not rip off huge yards, it was fun to see him run and get some yards, and fun to see him jump over the top and land on your guy's head.

That was a bad call, but it shouldn't have mattered, t he delay of game was the nail in the coffin. There was no excuse for that. I have no doubt Marshawn would have scored from the 1.

This may be a bit extreme, but not entirely inaccurate.

My $.02 worth -

Brady is more hurt than he or the team are letting on. After last weeks game he had a giant ice pack on his elbow during the post game presser. And they NEVER let injuries show. This directly translate to the erratic accuracy issues of the last half dozen games.

His decision making is slower because he has had significantly less time to make decisions. The O-line is awful this year. They've shown no improvement.

His binky, Edelman, is 50% at best. And when he's not, teams are doubling him, daring the Pats to beat them some other way (Pats M.O.) and they can't. Sanu is the master of the 8 yard reception when 10 yards are needed.
