What's this?

It wasn't perfect, and I think the Niners fell into the trap where they played down to their opponent, but with the addition of Sanders they became serious SB contenders.

8-0 baby. The Cardinals made a game of it, that's for sure. With all the players coming back from injuries, I'd say they will be quite prepared for the Seahawks.

I'm still a bit skeptical. The Cardinals may be better than their (now 3-5) record might indicate, but otherwise, the Niners have yet to face a team that doesn't suck. This month will be the real test, particularly since the schedule-makers gave the Niners Seattle and Green Bay at home. If they win both of those games, I'll jump on the bandwagon, but until then, they've coasted on the strength of an unusually easy schedule.

Niners will have to show up in the playoffs to arrive at the next level, but they sure are leveling up fast. Nice to have a franchise with that kind of history back in the conversation.

Completely agree. They have the tools, but they need to beat solid contenders and roll into the playoffs kicking ass and taking names. I never figured they would do better than 10-6 this year, and even that was above the 8-8 I figured they might be capable of

I likely will not be able to watch the game, as we are traveling that day, and may not yet be back. But I will abide by our bet! Go Seahawks!

I am at Wesleyan University, visiting my kid, and saw they have a Belichick plaza in their sports complex. I guess he attended there. Gotta admit, he is a smart coach. Wesleyan produces brainy types. https://athletics.wesleyan.edu/sports/fball/belichick

Attention NFL. Don't move the Chargers to London. Let the Redskins and Dan Snyder move there and move the Chargers to DC.

The Skins are the 29th worst team in the NFL in the 2010s at 59-89-1. Only the Bucs, Browns and Jags have had worse records.

Well, the Jags have officially bailed on Minshew. Let's see how this shit show turns out.
