National Football League 2019

Let me know when they pay you $10 to attend.

It would take more than that to get me to go. Not only does the team suck, but the whole stadium experience there is terrible. I'd be much more likely to head down to Jacksonville for a game than to head over to FedEx field.

I’ll be out of town that weekend.

I considered taking the kids to it because they have never been to a Skins game, I had probably been to 15 or 20 by the time I was their age. After I said we should do it, I immediately remembered how horrible it is going to FedEx. Luckily, my wife is out of town that weekend and we can't leave the dogs home that long, so I escaped it. I did take them to 4 or 5 Jags games when we lived in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Getting in and out of FedEx is a nightmare. The stadium itself is OK I guess...nothing special.

FedEx is a tomb in a swamp. But that’s what Jack Kent Cooke wanted...

Too bad some idiots blocked the Potomac Yard location because traffic would be too much. So instead of a stadium with 8 Sundays worth of traffic, they got strip malls and apartments for 365 days a year traffic.

That’s one way to look at it. Another way to look at it would be to understand that the Squire was every bit the billionaire d-bag that Snyder is and was determined to find a location that would allow him to monopolize parking and concession revenue.

And that’s s one to grow on...

yeah but he was a winning billionaire d-bag.

Fun game to watch. Seahawks got a little lucky in the end. But I'll take it. And I am still a Russell Wilson fan. Carson had a good night too. And Lockett's catch was pretty damn amazing!

Also, watching the game on Amazon last night, we were able to switch to audio by two women commentators. I don't know who they were but will try to find out. Very nice commentary, on point and relevant, and it was NOT Aikman and Buck. I was honestly happier not to hear Buck (as opposed to Aikman, also not my favorite) who always annoys me. I will do it again if it is an option when I watch.

no kidding. I think he needed a deep playoff run to keep his job which makes the drafting of Haskins strange. Why spend a first round pick on a QB when you know the coach is a lame duck? You now limit your possible new coaches to people who love Haskins. Unless they already had their coach lined up for next season. Wouldn’t shock me if they introduce Urban Meyer as the coach next season.
So...it'd be like Spurrier/Wuerffel version 2. We all remember how well that worked out.
