New carbon fiber guitar day! Got this Rainsong Shorty today from the man in brown. Even after a coast-to-coast trip via the gentle ministrations of UPS ground, damn thing was still in tune when I unpacked it! It's light as a feather, resonant as a stone well, and sustains forever. Haven't tried it plugged in yet, but I believe this is going to be my new #1. I may end up selling the Martin Custom-shop 000-15, because this thing eats its lunch!


 
I'd be interested in trying one, sometime. I know that the 60's singer Melanie sometimes plays a CF guitar.

You get around to conferences, and I’ll bet the Bay Area is ground zero for substance abuse seminars! If you’re ever out this way, I’d be more than happy to bring the guitar to you and bask in the reflected light of the man, the myth, they legend: Gary Blanchard!

Boy, I'd love to go to a conference out that way. I'll have to do some research about conferences out there and try to get booked as a speaker. I'd get to see a different area, try out the Rainsong, and meet a cool Weiner!
