Hot or Not? Mesa/Boogie Mark V w/natural cab(s)

That natural DRRI (which I love) got me looking at other amps w/natural cabs. Ended up at sweetwater and saw these.

I had a Mark III until the early 90s when I had to sell it to pay rent. Fantastic amp, albeit way more than I needed.

While it looks like I would need an astronaut license to operate it, I sure would like to have one.

Love the 1st one as it looks like the classic Mark I and Mark II's. As for all those knobs - meh - too many.

i always liked the tolex better.

BITD i really wanted, and really couldn't afford a Mark IV. now i'm glad i bought a Subway Rocket instead.

I love the natural wood finish boogies. I played in a band with a guy with a flame maple MK IV. I still dream of that amp sometimes. My boogie is covered with cheap o tolex, as I couldn't afford the wood option when I bought my last one.

Me too.. i still think about picking up a MkV sometimes but I know it'd be kinda pointless right now.
