Meet Bon Jovi's new guitar player...

he played in Daughtry. My youngest daughter was in the same class as the other Daughtry's guitar player's daughter last year. They had a family night and we were chit chatting and I asked him what he did and he said he was a musician. I said, yeah me too. Then I asked what he played and he said guitar for Chris Daughtry and I went  I play in my garage.

I've got Jovi tickets for mid June, although Richie is my guitar idol, when I watched a couple of this dudes videos the other day I thought it would be pretty cool if he was around for the show (the party line is Sambora will be back for the European leg of the tour) cos the guy is a monster and Richie's been on autopilot live for the last couple of years.

Even if Sambora does cme back, they should keep this guy on board and get rid of Bobby fuckin Bandierra.

Phil X?

Really?

This is the name he goes by?

If you're going to try to pull that nickname off, you can't have a first name like "Phil." That's about the least X-treme first name ever. See also "Lloyd Murderballs" and "Marty Hitler."

You say "Xenidis" 5 times fast....
that's his real last name.

I've watched a few of his videos on youtube before. He seems like a cool guy, great sense of humor, down to earth. has good chops too. The only thing I would be worried about is his vocal chops, Sambora had a pretty strong voice and was a master at harmonizing.
