I didn't think I'd feel like cooking when I wake up in about 7 hours :embarrassed:
 
Leftover salads from the market, and some leftover roast chicken, which will be slathered with dijon mustard.
 
I just ate McDonald's. I really shouldnt have but I had coupons. I didnt eat yesterday and I was ravenous.
 
I stopped in at a local, international social group, The Oak Centre, where I'm a member and make donations. They were serving large chicken fajitas, with a choice of salsa, ketchup or sour cream, and a large spinach salad with big strips of red peppers, sunflower seeds and other items. $1.00. Desert was two really big and soft oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies, 25 cents each.

That filled me up, and except for getting a carton of fruit juice, that might be it for the day.
And that's turning down free slices at the pizzeria where I'm catching donated storage and worshop space.

going to an overpriced frou-frou hipster sausage and beer place for lunch.

gonna make some sort of bean and veggie soup for dinner
 
I'm on the Atkins (lost 11 lbs as of this morning).

For lunch i have a steak that i cooked in a little bit of butter and soy sauce. Afternoon snack, hard boiled egg and string cheese. Dinner a tuna salad with ranch.

Cut out all carbs. At least for the first few weeks. Then you can add them back in slowly. No carbs period.

It does work, and i feel so much better. I was 209, and getting heartburn daily. That was a bit less than 2 weeks ago. I am 198.5 this morning, and feel great.

But its not for everybody, i get a lot of contrary opinions on it. But i know it works.

This is my kinda diet :embarrassed: Only thing that would suck about it for me is no pizza. But I could live on meat alone pretty happily. My cholesterol would be horrible though I am sure.

...thats funny, Ive been doing essentially the complete opposite...eating a lot more carbs, along with fruit and veggies, and keeping fatty meat to a minimum...I also cut out HFC and most white sugars...and salt...I also have been cycling like a mad man, and will do more of when I get a good road bike...I dont know how much weight ive lost, but my clothes dont fit...
 
:grin: mine are getting baggy too, which is great. Fortunately i have a big pile of stuff that used to be too tight that im coming back into. hahaha

The cholesterol arguement is still out. All the nutritionists swear up and down it goes up, but some studies show it actually goes down.
