Stealing Your Riffs
The earth will cast a shadow over the full moon before dawn. This Blood Moon will be visible to a large part of the Americas. Full eclipse will happen between 4am to 7am ET. Partial eclipse will be visible up until 9am ET.
 
My astronomy nerd kid was really excited to see it until I told him it would be at 4:33am. I, however, wake up that early every day so I might just go out a take a peek if the foothills aren’t in the way.
 
Oof. Yeah, I'm usually awake at 0345 PST, but still tough to drag myself out of bed. Knowing my luck we'll have high clouds anyway :annoyed:
 
I’m not going to set an alarm to see the Blood Moon, but if I wake up early to go to the bathroom, like happened this morning, I’ll try to check it out. At the very least, I should be able to catch a partial eclipse when my alarm goes off.
 
I rarely wake up that early, but i’m up that late a few times per week. Does not look ideal for viewing by the forecast, but I’ll take a look if I’m up
 
I just woke up, 3:50 mountain time. The eclipse is about 75%. I’m going back to bed. If I’m awake in another 45 minutes, I’ll go out and take another look.
